The West Volusia Kennel Club (WVKC) is dedicated to supporting all aspects of responsible dog ownership and fostering a strong canine-loving community in Volusia County.
From offering expert-led obedience, rally, and conformation handling classes to hosting engaging events like our annual All-Breed Dog Show and community activities like Meet the Breed demonstrations, there’s something for everyone. Our club takes pride in meaningful community service initiatives, including the creation of the Prison Pups N Pals program and educational outreach about responsible dog ownership. We also provide a Breeder Referral Service to assist families in finding their perfect canine companion.
WVKC meetings are held monthly and feature informative programs on a variety of dog-related topics. Whether you’re a seasoned dog enthusiast or a first-time owner, WVKC is the perfect place to learn, connect, and celebrate your love for purebred dogs!

West Volusia Kennel Club is spreading holiday cheer in the 2025 DeLand Christmas Parade! 🎄🐾
Join us on Saturday, December 6, 2025 as we roll down the route with our Candy Cane Lane–themed float, complete with festive pups, sparkling red-and-white decor, and plenty of wagging tails.
The parade kicks off at 6:00 PM in downtown DeLand. Bring the family, grab a spot along the route, and come wave to all the WVKC dogs showing off their holiday spirit. It’s one of DeLand’s most beloved traditions — and our dogs are ready to make it extra sweet.
